Maickel Melamed is a high-performance athlete with muscular dystrophy, and a strategic mentor for leaders and organizations focused on achieving extraordinary results.
He is a published author of three books, a keynote speaker, and a psychotherapist. He’s a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations and was recognized as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum.
Maickel, who is passionate about humanity, is on a mission to unleash the human potential in individuals by tapping into their inner magic.
He believes nothing is too big to not even try it. His approach to life has taken him from a 6-week life expectancy when he was born to become a world renowned leader and an example of human potential.
Maickel has participated in the world’s 5 major marathons: NY City Marathon (2011), Berlin Marathon (2012), Chicago Marathon (2013), Tokyo Marathon (2014), and Boston Marathon in 2015. He has also practiced extreme sports such as paragliding, parachuting, diving, and mountain climbing.
He is originally from Venezuela where he obtained his degrees in Economics and Psychotherapy. Whenever he’s not on a plane, you’ll find him training for his next big challenge.
